Full description

Leave the port of Vodice in the morning and settle on the top deck as your captain sets a course toward Šibenik. The route threads the St Anthony Channel for photo friendly views of the sixteenth century St Nicholas Fortress before the boat continues beneath the Šibenik Bridge and into the Krka River estuary. En route you pause at a shell farm where the crew collects and cooks fresh mussels for a tasty onboard sampling, a local touch guests love.

From the river you glide across Prokljan Lake and into the canyon toward Skradin, the classic gateway to Krka National Park. With tickets arranged, you continue to the Skradinski Buk area and have free time to walk the marked loop over wooden boardwalks, visit viewpoints, and learn how tufa barriers shape the cascades. The park’s own boat transports visitors on the Skradin to Skradinski Buk run during the main season which keeps transfers simple. Swimming at the waterfalls has been prohibited since 2021 to protect the formations, so the focus is on scenery, photos, and easy walking. After your visit you rejoin the boat for a relaxed return to Vodice by late afternoon.
