Full description

Meet your driver guide in Makarska and settle into a comfortable electric Tuk Tuk for a scenic climb on the Biokovo park road. The route follows a narrow mountain roadway with lay by areas every few hundred meters which is why the park limits private vehicle entry per hour. Your Tuk Tuk tour handles the logistics for you and brings you directly to the Skywalk access point at Ravna Vlaška.
At the top you walk out onto the curved glass platform that projects from the cliff. On a clear day you can look down to Makarska and across to the islands of Brač and Hvar. The viewpoint area also features a geological column that illustrates the rock layers of Biokovo and there are parking and restroom facilities next to the info center. After unhurried time for photos the guide begins a gentle descent back to Makarska with one or two panoramic pauses if conditions permit.

Typical experiences run for about two and a half to three hours depending on traffic management inside the park and season. Morning and late afternoon departures are common in the main season. Because conditions at altitude can be cooler and windy, bring a light layer and closed shoes. The Skywalk access can be adjusted by rangers during unstable weather and the guide may sequence stops to match the calmest window.

Who it is for:

  • Visitors who want a simple and scenic way to reach the Skywalk without self driving the mountain road.
  • Couples, friends and families looking for photo friendly viewpoints and minimal walking.
  • Travelers who value small group formats with guided access and time efficient logistics.

Not suitable for:

  • Guests with serious back or neck issues or those who are pregnant due to the winding mountain road.
  • Travelers who require step free access for the Tuk Tuk boarding itself.
  • Visitors who expect fixed stop times regardless of weather controls in the park.
